About MelMACCS

From a MELCOR plot file, MelMACCS can generate a source term file as input to a MACCS simulation. MELCOR plot files contain large amounts of data, only a small fraction of which is needed for MACCS calculations. MELCOR and MelMACCS are not required to run MACCS, so long as the user can manually define the atmospheric release of radioactive material for the simulation.
